Join the Upper Saranac Foundation and more than 10 local organizations on June 11 at the Dewey Mountain Recreation Center in Saranac Lake for the annual Love Your Lakes & Lands community event!
Held during New York’s Invasive Species Awareness Week, this free, family-friendly evening is a great way to kick off the summer season while learning how to help protect the lakes, waterways, and forests we all enjoy.
The event will feature hands-on activities, demonstrations, guided walks, and educational opportunities for all ages, including:
• Guided bird walks
• Paddle safety demonstrations
• Lead tackle check and replacement station
• Invasive species education
• Watershed and recreation information from regional organizations
Brief presentations will take place from 5:00–6:00 PM, and food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Whether you’re a paddler, angler, birder, boater, or simply someone who loves the Adirondacks, there’s something for everyone.
We hope to see you there!
